His Royal Highness Prince Henrik (left) congratulates Bjarne Roger Nielsen, Managing Director and Sales Director Lars Anthon with the award. Prince Henrik presented the prestigious King Frederik IX's Award for Excellence in Export to Danfysik A/S at a ceremony at the royal summer residence, Fredensborg Palace. The ceremony took place on June 11, 2003, the Prince's 69th birthday. The award was given to Danfysik in appreciation of its efforts and success as a leading supplier of high technology products abroad. The export grew from 25 to 30% per year over the past two years. In his speech to the award winners the Prince underlined their adaptability and visions, qualities that are in demand for when operating in present days' export markets. The award, which is named after the late King Frederik IX of Denmark, the father in law of Prince Henrik, was founded in 1970.
